Brighton Photo Fringe

www.photofringe.org

Support = Creative Expertise (Photography), Exhibition Opportunities, Networks

Every two years BPF brings together a festival of exhibitions, projects and events that runs alongside Brighton Photo Biennial.  An accompanying programme of networking events and workshops support and develop the community of participating photographic artists. Participative projects and exhibitions develop and increase both audience and exhibitors from communities who would not otherwise be able to engage in these activities. The wide variety of accessible venues for BPF ensures a large audience and provides a unique insight into current UK photographic practice. BPF gives training and advice to participating artists, and coordinates exhibitions and events.  As part of this commitment to audience development, enhancing diversity and increasing accessibility, BPF will facilitate a series of photography workshops in Barbados in October/November 2011.  Participants from the local community working in collaboration with UK artists will produce work which will form part of the BPF exhibition in the UK.
