
6°promotes the value and diversity of creative expression in an international setting, and will explore individual and community connectedness to the rest of the world. The project will establish and nurture strong inter-cultural relations by cultivating a dynamic season of events based on collaborative creativity, with universal themes to help artists and communities find a common ground and share understanding.
6° is a truly distinctive initiative, specifically designed to propel artists creatively and professionally. By engaging them with a range of high calibre calibre cultural agencies and practices, they will be exposed new international networks and opportunities. Artistic Vision
The purpose of the 6° project is to strengthen the diverse arts sector, and thus the artistic vision is informed by the need to create opportunities for sharing, networking and learning for diverse artists through exchange programmes, partnerships and public presentations within a global context. Additionally, in line with the Cultural Olympiad values, the project will be designed to focus on global unity through inclusion, by facilitating multi-access opportunities for cultural consumption and participation.

Project Collaborators
The 6° programme is led by Urbanflo Creative Consultancy working in partnership with a formidable range of national and international cultural organisations, community-based groups and statutory agencies. The project also boasts a significant level of support from a dynamic collective of highly experienced creative professionals, who will help to enhance the skills and confidence of fellow artists in a supportive environment, and empower them for international mobility.
